Trakki Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Effective date: 11 September 2026
This policy explains how Silksome LLC handles consumer health data that it collects through the Trakki app, under Washington's My Health My Data Act and Nevada's consumer health data law (SB 370). Silksome LLC is at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, and you can email us at support@silksome.com.
Our Privacy Policy covers how we handle all other personal data.
#1. The health data we collect, and how we use it
| Health data | How we use it |
|---|---|
| Body measurements: your weight, height and waist measurement, and your sex and date of birth, which are used with them | To work out your calorie and macronutrient targets, and to show your progress |
| Your goals: your target weight, how fast you want to reach it, how active you are and your daily movement | To set your plan and targets |
| Your diet: your diet style, preferred cuisines, and any foods, ingredients or allergens you want to avoid | To create meal plans, and to check those plans against the foods you want to avoid |
| Your food and water log: what you eat and drink, when you have it, and its estimated nutrition | To compare what you eat with your targets, and to answer your questions to the coach |
| Photos: photos of your meals, and progress photos if you take them | To identify food and estimate its nutrition (meal photos only), and to show you your progress (progress photos, which are never sent to an AI provider) |
| Your coach conversations, and the facts about you the coach remembers after you accept them | To answer your questions and make the coach's answers more relevant to you |
| Data Trakki works out from the above: your targets, estimated nutrition, meal plans and streaks | To show you your plan and results |
| Records of your AI requests, which include some of the data above | To apply usage limits, fix wrong answers and keep the service secure |
We only collect and use this data to provide the Trakki features you ask for. We don't use it for advertising.
#2. Where the data comes from
- You. Most of it is information you type in or photos you upload.
- Trakki. Some is worked out by Trakki from what you've entered, such as your targets, nutrition estimates and meal plans.
- Open Food Facts. When you scan a barcode, the product's nutrition information comes from the Open Food Facts public database.
#3. Who we share it with
We don't sell your health data. We don't share it for advertising, or for any purpose other than running Trakki. We have no affiliates, meaning no related companies that we share it with.
We disclose health data only to the recipients below.
| Recipient | What they receive |
|---|---|
| Our database and storage provider: Supabase | All of the health data listed above, stored for us |
| AI providers: OpenRouter, which forwards requests to Google and OpenAI | Meal photos and descriptions, when you scan food. Your coach messages, with the parts of your log needed to answer them. Your targets, diet style and the foods you avoid, when Trakki creates a meal plan |
| A public food database: Open Food Facts, which your phone contacts directly | The barcode you scan |
| Government authorities | Only what the law requires us to disclose, and only when it does |
#4. Tracking by other companies
No other company collects your health data through Trakki over time or across other websites or apps.
#5. Your rights, and how to use them
You have the right to:
- Find out whether we collect, share or sell your health data. We collect it, as described above. We don't sell it.
- Get a copy of your health data, together with a list of every company we've shared it with and an email address or online link for contacting each one.
- Withdraw your consent for us to collect and share your health data.
- Delete your health data. This includes deleting it from our backups, which we delete within 30 days anyway. When you ask us to delete your data, we'll also tell every company holding it for us to delete it. Copies that AI providers keep to check for misuse are deleted automatically, within 30 days for OpenAI.
How to make a request:
- To delete everything immediately: in the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete my account.
- For anything else, or to delete without the app: email support@silksome.com from the email address on your Trakki account, with "Health data request" in the subject line. We use your account email to confirm the request is really from you.
Requests are free. We aim to reply within 30 days, and we always reply within the 45 days the law allows. If a request is complicated, we may extend this once by another 45 days. If we need to, we'll tell you why within the first 45 days.
If we say no, you can appeal. Reply to our decision with "Appeal" in the subject line. Within 45 days, we'll reply in writing, explaining what we've done and why. If we still say no, you can complain to the Attorney General's Office in your state:
- Washington: atg.wa.gov
- Nevada: ag.nv.gov
We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.
#6. Changes to this policy
If we make an important change to this policy, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect, and we'll update the effective date at the top.
